1. Acceptance
These terms govern the use of the Atenea Seguros website. By browsing the website or submitting a form you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, we ask that you do not use the site.
2. Who we are
Atenea Seguros is the trade name of Atenea Trade Bussines S.A.C., RUC 20612302368, located at Jr. Batalla de San Juan Nro. 175. We are an insurance broker registered with the SBS.
3. What we do and what we don't
As an insurance broker, we advise you, compare alternatives between insurers and support you during your policy term and in the event of a claim.
Atenea Seguros is not an insurance company. Coverage is provided by the insurer that issues the policy, and its scope, exclusions, deductibles and conditions are those stated in that document. We recommend reading the policy before taking it out; if you have questions, we will explain them.
4. Quotes
The quotes we send you are indicative. They depend on the information you give us and on the insurer's evaluation and acceptance, and may vary until the policy is issued. Submitting a form or messaging us on WhatsApp does not mean any insurance has been taken out.
The insurance is taken out when the insurer issues the policy and the premium payment conditions it sets are met.
5. The information you give us
We ask that the information you provide be true and complete. Inaccurate or omitted data may affect the quote and, under the Insurance Contract Law, even the coverage of your policy.
6. Payments
This website does not process payments. When you take out insurance we will tell you the insurer's official payment channels. Be wary of any request for payment to accounts that do not belong to the insurer or that we have not confirmed through our official channels.
7. Use of the site
You agree to use this website lawfully and not to submit false, offensive or third-party information without authorization, nor to attempt to affect its operation or security.
8. Informational content
The texts and videos on this website explain general insurance concepts. They do not replace reading the policy or personalized advice on your case.
9. Intellectual property
The Atenea Seguros brand, logo, texts, design and other content on this website belong to us or are used with authorization. Copying or using them for commercial purposes without our written permission is not allowed. The names and logos of insurers belong to their respective owners.
10. Links to other sites
The website includes links to third-party services, such as WhatsApp, YouTube and social networks. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, for which we are not responsible.
11. Personal data
The processing of the data you send us is governed by our Privacy policy.
12. Claims and complaints
If you are not satisfied with our service, you can file a claim or complaint in our Complaints Book. We will reply within a period of no more than fifteen (15) business days.
If your claim concerns the coverage or service of an insurer, you can also file it directly with that company, the Insured's Ombudsman or the SBS. We help you do so.
13. Changes to these terms
We may modify these terms at any time. The current version is always the one published on this page, with its update date.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Peru. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent authorities of Peru, without prejudice to your right to turn to INDECOPI or other consumer protection channels.
